Reynold’s Sound & Lighting Services Pvt Ltd has long been recognised for technical excellence and recently became the first rental company in India to purchase both the largest and smallest of the DiGiCo Quantum range, the Quantum 852 and the brand-new Quantum 112, supplied and supported by DiGiCo distributors Hi-Tech Audio & Image LLP.

Reynold’s Sound & Lighting Services parent company was originally established in 1908. It developed into the familiar rental company it is today in 1981, under the stewardship of Managing Director, Felix Remedios, the third generation of Reynold’s management. Now with headquarters in Bengaluru, the company is one of India’s leading rental companies, specialising in high quality solutions for any application. The headquarters boast state-of-the-art testing and warehouse facilities, plus over 250 full time staff are employed as engineers and across the sales, installation and showroom departments.

Having acquired the Quantum consoles, Remedios wasted no time in setting them  to work, and what better way to showcase Quantum power than with a world record-breaking festival? As he explains, the purchase was not simply about acquiring shiny new gear, it was about expanding audio possibilities and building on the company’s reputation for delivering the very best for their clients.

“The DiGiCo Quantum 852 is built for the world’s most expressive, complex, and technically demanding productions,” he says. “Introducing it to South India signals that our artists, engineers, and audiences deserve global-grade sonic precision. At Reynold’s, we believe in leading with intention, not fashion, and this investment marks a defining moment in India’s journey toward the highest international touring standards.”

Held in Muddenahalli and lasting for 100 days, the One World One Family festival broke the Guinness World Record for the longest cultural festival. It was conceived as a way to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of spiritual leader and world teacher, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, creating a global gathering celebrating love, unity and humanity. The Quantum 852 took centre stage, managing over 220 input channels at the front of house position. The Quantum 112 took the role of production console, while an additional Quantum 5 delivered monitor and broadcast feeds.

Providing on-site support for the event was Satyam Rajvanshi, Application Engineer (DiGiCo) at Hi-Tech Audio & Image. For him, being part of this record-breaking festival was a ground-breaking moment.

“My role was to ensure seamless performance across the entire DiGiCo ecosystem from engine redundancy to Optocore integration, delivering the reliability, stability, and precision required for a production of this magnitude,” he recalls. “Being present for the deployment of the Quantum 852, Quantum 112, and Quantum 5 consoles for monitors and broadcast, in collaboration with the Reynolds team, was an immensely proud moment for all of us.”

Official recognition of Guinness World Record success was awarded on November 23rd 2025. The team were also officially recognised for breaking the Guinness World Record for the most nationalities performing in a choral symphony.  Sixty five nationalities were represented, with a mixture of traditional music from each nation, along with a rendition of Happy Birthday to celebrate Sathya Sai Babas’ birth.

“Watching the Quantum ecosystem power two Guinness World Records with perfect stability was one of the proudest moments in our history,” Remedios continues. “The audio system didn’t just perform; it elevated the entire production. Our engineers mixed over 250 channels, supported a 200-piece orchestra, and united musicians from around the world.  Quantum exists for shows like this and that’s why Reynold’s chooses it. Its performance validated every decision we’ve made.”

Rajan Gupta,  CEO & Founder of Hi-Tech Audio & Image LLP, oversaw the sale of the Quantum 852 and Quantum112. For him, the partnership with DiGiCo has always been rooted in capability-building, not transactional supply. His relationship with clients will always be about improvements, not just of technical and creative standards, but of the relationships that power those advancements.

“Reynold’s Quantum deployment, especially during the Guinness World Record production, is a reminder of what India can achieve when talent and technology converge,” he expands. “The decision to invest ahead of the curve sets a new standard for the country and this milestone proves India is not simply matching global touring expectations, we are becoming a destination the world respects and celebrates. Quantum technology doesn’t just enhance sound; it enables India to perform on the world stage.”

As India steps into a future powered by scale and technical sophistication, collaboration becomes a valuable foundation on which to build. Engineering talent is growing, live event formats are diversifying, and audiences are becoming more discerning — creating a demand for systems built around reliability, creative expression, and operational excellence.

“This is more than an acquisition; it is a responsibility to the future,” Nirdosh Aggarwal, Managing Partner at Hi-Tech Audio & Image LLP reveals. “The success of modern productions depends equally on technical innovation, engineering skill, and unified industry development. At Hi-Tech, our mission is to enable the Indian live sound community with the most advanced tools, knowledge, and long-term support structure. The Quantum 852 and Quantum 112 represent the next era of sonic precision, and we are committed to helping the industry unlock its fullest potential.”

For Reynold’s Sound & Lighting Services, with Hi-Tech Audio & Image LLP and DiGiCo in their corner, there is no limit to the possibilities, and 2026 looks set to be an even bigger year. The range of performance is vast, from spiritual mega-events like the Isha Mahashivratri to huge touring events like Lollapalooza India. The two companies are not just reacting, they are building a structured pattern of growth, enriching investment in technology with work place and community education, and nationwide support, building an infrastructure that is not just equipped, but is driven by engineers confidently empowered to deliver the very best solutions. As Remedios concludes, utilising the DiGiCo infrastructure has raised the bar of what is possible across India and, with the bold investment in both technology and engineers, there is no limit to what they can achieve.

“The world has now seen what India can do,” he says. “Two Guinness World Records, a 450-piece global orchestra, 250+ channels, and a DiGiCo Quantum 852 at the heart of it, all executed flawlessly. This is India’s moment. To every rental company and engineer: invest boldly, learn relentlessly, and create without fear. The Quantum revolution is here and India is at the forefront.”
