The presence of dBTechnologies at ISE 2026 combined technological innovation, live demonstrations and strong participation from its international partner network. In this context, the Italian company presented its latest developments in professional sound systems while welcoming integrators, technicians and distributors from different markets at its booth and demo room. Among them was TMPro, the brand’s official distributor in Argentina, which joined its supplier at the exhibition to experience first-hand the latest developments within the company’s audio ecosystem.

Barcelona became the stage where dBTechnologies put its solutions into action, allowing visitors to experience the real performance of its systems. Beyond technical specifications, the company’s proposal focused on practical demonstrations, new technologies and applications aimed at both the live sound market and professional installations.

At the brand’s booth, a wide selection of systems from the VIO series and point-source solutions were displayed, including the new and groundbreaking VIO L1610, VIO X205, VIO W12T and IG5TR, along with systems designed for fixed installations such as IS WP, IS210L/IS210T, IS115S and IS118S. In addition, the company introduced a new solution that expands its approach within the audiovisual integration market.

However, one of the most notable aspects of the company’s participation was its dedicated demo room located in Hall 8. There, the dBTechnologies team organized structured listening sessions where attendees were able to hear the systems’ real performance under controlled conditions.

During these sessions, systems designed for live sound and touring played a central role. Configurations combining VIO W12T and VIO X205 alongside the VIO S218 subwoofer demonstrated power, control and sonic consistency—qualities that have helped consolidate the brand’s presence in international productions.

Among the innovations presented, one of the developments that generated the most interest was the new VIO L1608 system. Simone Bonetto, application engineer at dBTechnologies, explained some of the features that define this model within the VIO series.

“These are the three features I like the most about our new 1608 system in the VIO series. First, the weight, because it is actually the lightest dual 8-inch system currently available on the market. Second, it is the first system in the VIO series that comes natively with A2Net, which is our new protocol for remote communication, management and digital audio transmission to the cabinets. And third, the power combined with the definition of a system that delivers 138 dB of SPL in only 22 kilograms of weight,” he explained.

The specialist also went deeper into the system’s technical development and its positioning within the company’s new generation of compact line arrays.

“Our new VIO L1608 is a dual 8-inch, three-way system equipped with A2Net, using our new proprietary protocol. It’s a wooden cabinet, a three-way system with 1600W RMS. It belongs to the new generation of arrays we are developing under the VIO series, our flagship line,” he said.

Bonetto also highlighted the system’s potential for different professional applications. “We believe it will be a very attractive system for the market because it fits perfectly with what has always been our strength: a very compact, very lightweight system but with massive output in terms of sound performance. We believe it will work well both for production companies and for installation applications.”

The exhibition also served as an opportunity to strengthen ties with the brand’s international distribution network. From Argentina, TMPro actively participated at the booth, accompanying dBTechnologies during presentations and technical demonstrations.

Eliseo Cuciniello, sales director at TMPro, presented some of the innovations the brand showcased in Barcelona, beginning with the incorporation of new technologies that are part of the ecosystem developed by the company.

“There are a couple of new things here. We have some side cut with the new phase plug. It also includes many of the technologies found in the 1608, such as the NFC cards, localization and LED indicators. It features a new amplifier here, delivering 1600 watts with convection cooling.”

One of the most relevant aspects of the new cabinet is the integration of the A2Net protocol, designed to simplify connectivity and control within complex systems.

“This is the first cabinet that also comes with the A2Net card, so let’s talk a bit about A2Net. It’s a new protocol that allows us to use a single CAT cable to carry AuroraNet, as well as AES-EBU or analog audio through that same cable,” Eliseo explained.

During his tour of the booth, Cuciniello also introduced another of the brand’s notable solutions within the Ingenia family.

“dBTechnologies has presented its new IG5 TR. There is a big difference in terms of quality compared to its predecessor, the IG5, because this is the first one made of wood rather than plastic like the others. We have an amplifier delivering more than 1600W RMS, along with three 10-inch drivers and a horn with waveguide.”

The executive also explained the system’s configuration possibilities. “All of this comes in a point-source system that can be doubled, as we can see here, and it can clearly operate on its own. Like the entire Ingenia series, there is the possibility of working with digital steering inside, but unlike the other models that needed to be coupled to operate with steering, with the IG5 you can also work with a single unit.”

He also described the model’s positioning within the range. “The IG5 TR is the newest addition to the Ingenia family and the largest one. It features three 10-inch woofers and a 3-inch compression driver connected to an asymmetric waveguide. It’s an active system, and on the back we can see the integrated amplifier along with the LED display for control.”

The joint participation at ISE 2026 reflected the strategic relationship between dBTechnologies and its regional distributors, who play a key role in the brand’s expansion across different markets.

In this context, the presence of TMPro accompanying the Italian manufacturer during the exhibition reaffirmed the connection between manufacturer and distributor, as well as the commitment to bringing the latest innovations in professional sound—presented at one of the most important events in the global audiovisual industry—to the Latin American market.
