From Barcelona, at an exciting ISE 2026, DAS Audio not only celebrated its 55th anniversary but also consolidated a phase of expansion and strengthening in the Latin American market. The company took advantage of the international stage to present new developments, reaffirm its closeness with distributors, and highlight a message that defines its identity: technology, quality, and human relationships as the central axis of the business.

“We are here this year to celebrate DAS’s 55th anniversary, but also to present some new developments for 2026,” said Leandro Arguello, VP of Sales and Marketing for DAS Audio in Latin America.
In the region, the strategy focused on consolidating the positioning of the ARA Series, Event Series, and Altea Series, within a context he described as a moment of growth. “We are in a moment where we are focused on the DAS Audio experience together with the distributors in each country, trying to optimize solutions and educate users interested in DAS Audio systems in a better and more didactic way,” he explained.
Argentina, Colombia, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic were the markets that showed the best performance during the last period. In particular, Argentina and Colombia — with distributors that began operations at the beginning of 2025 — achieved remarkable results in a short time. “These are operations that, despite their short time, have performed very well, bringing Ara Series systems to major events and festival concerts. And we are very happy about that, because they are markets in the professional audio world that have always set trends for DAS Audio,” he noted.
In terms of product, the biggest highlight in Latin America during the past year was the EVENT-28A and 118A systems, together with the integral M26X processor. According to Arguello, it was a proposal that innovated within the segment with a system in a plastic cabinet, FID filters, and integrated processing in each enclosure, offering a compact format capable of covering medium-sized events both indoors and outdoors.
“It was truly an incredible experience to bring the EVENT-28A to Latin America, because we had a very, very good acceptance and sales result overall,” he stated. Looking toward the immediate future, expectations were placed on the addition of the EVENT-30A and EVENT-S218A to further enhance the experience and results of the Event Series in the region.
The strategic axis, however, remained clear: strengthening the distribution network. “Our focus is always to support our distributors. They are our local partners in each country. Through them we bring the DAS experience to each market,” he said.
Together with applications and systems engineer Fernando Nanao, the regional team deployed an active agenda of visits, training sessions, commercial meetings, and marketing actions aimed at bringing the brand’s technical and corporate experience closer to each market.
“What we want is for our distributors to bring every interested user in Latin America the real experience of how to use DAS Audio systems and how to deliver better events and installations. Each DAS distributor is an extension and a very important partner in the success of our work,” he emphasized.

The celebration of the 55th anniversary was another milestone of the year. The company gathered more than 600 guests from around the world in Valencia, including distributors and rental companies, in an event that reaffirmed its corporate philosophy. “We wanted to reinforce the DAS message: that we are a company focused on relationships, on delivering high-quality products in construction and technology at a fair price, without losing our human identity, our soul,” Arguello said. And he added: “The closer we are to those who use or sell DAS, the closer we are to ensuring the success of this company and our business.”
ISE once again demonstrated why it is the strategic nucleus of the global AV industry. On that stage, DAS Audio presented not only products but a vision: innovation applied to real needs, sustained growth in Latin America, and a clear conviction that technological development truly gains meaning when it is built on strong relationships.
In this context of technological evolution, Leandro also previewed the arrival of new tools that will expand the possibilities of its professional systems. Among them is the new Integral-M48D processor, a solution designed to offer greater control capacity, optimization, and advanced management of audio systems: “For the Latin American market, where large productions, complex installations, and a growing demand for integrated solutions coexist, this type of development represents an important step in continuing to raise the technical standard of projects in the region.”
“DAS Audio is a company that seeks relationships, seeks results, and constant growth. So thank you Latam Stage, thank you friends across Latin America for believing in and wanting DAS Audio. And remember, DAS Audio is sound with soul,” Arguello concluded.
