Channel 9 is the third largest TV channel in Israel. It
broadcasts across the country a range of programs including news, economy,
culture, sports and more. Channel 9 is the only Israel TV channel in Russian
language, and it’s aimed at the many citizens (over a million) previously
living in the former Soviet Union, who – after its collapse in 1989 – have
immigrated to Israel. The Israeli company A.B. Electronics has recently
installed a lighting equipment in the news broadcast studio of Channel 9. The
light rig included the SCENA LED 150 projectors by D.T.S.
The SCENA LED 150 is well suited for TV applications, as
the unit is a modern alternative to conventional lights, improving light
quality, flexibility of use (DMX control) and installation, energy savings and
component duration.
The fixture doesn’t heat up, and the projection is always
flicker free.?Also, the dimming curves are similar to those of halogen lamps.
