Audio Concept, an integrator and distributor of professional audiovisual solutions with presence in Venezuela, Colombia, and Panama, participated in ISE 2026 with its entire regional team. The visit to the most influential trade show in the AV sector was part of a clear strategy: updating its portfolio, strengthening alliances with manufacturers, and identifying new technological opportunities to boost its markets in Latin America.
ISE 2026 was not a simple update visit for Audio Concept. It was a comprehensive exercise in strategy, learning, and connection. With presence in Venezuela, Colombia, and Panama, the group traveled with its full team to explore every vertical of the audiovisual ecosystem: professional audio, commercial solutions, corporate integration, lighting, automation, networks, and home automation.
Jean Paul Gaspard, Director of the Audio Concept group, approaches it from a strategic perspective and understands his role as an active bridge between global innovation and the real needs of his markets: “Our presence at ISE together with the entire team is undoubtedly a demonstration of our commitment to the industry.”
“We come to ISE 2026 updating ourselves with commercial, professional, and residential audio and video solutions to bring back to our countries and support all our clients with the latest in technology and solutions,” added Jean Paul, highlighting the importance of keeping the company “at the forefront of the latest innovations of what is to come.”
For Audio Concept, this is definitely an important trade show for everyone in Latin America: “The language factor is a great advantage at this show, and the concentration of solutions in one place makes ISE a key pivot to serve the different markets we cover,” Jean Paul affirms.
And the visit does not remain in contemplation. For this year that is just beginning, the group moves forward with clear ambition: “We expect to have many innovations and an updated portfolio of the products we represent in the different regions, and we come with great strength and great enthusiasm to support all our clients and grow together with them in our markets.”
Q-SYS: integration, 4K video, and expanded functionality
The visit to the Q-SYS stand became one of those moments that reflects how audiovisual integration and the needs of modern corporate spaces are evolving. Mariangel Aguiar, Programming and Design Coordinator at Audio Concept, clearly highlighted the new features presented by the brand.
Emphasizing the versatility of the new generation of solutions, Mariangel showed interest in the renewed software accompanied by high-quality 4K cameras, designed for large meeting rooms and demanding collaborative environments. “It’s a camera for large meeting rooms, with excellent quality, that has great potential for our solutions portfolio.”
What drew the most attention was the integration capability with widely used collaboration platforms. The solution connects natively with Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet, expanding the value of AV infrastructure beyond the traditional. “It definitely makes installation much easier… we can reach slightly more remote locations,” she explained, referring to how easily it adapts to different room configurations.
The expansion of ports and audio input options was also part of the conversation. “In terms of processing and audio input, they expanded the ports significantly… where you can have everything in one place,” Mariangel commented.
This modular and consolidated approach parallels Jean Paul Gaspard’s strategic vision: “Keeping the team at the forefront of the latest innovations of what is to come.” Mariangel closed her perspective with optimism, anticipating the arrival of these solutions in Venezuela soon and the impact they will have on the modernization of AV spaces and solutions within the region.
Shure: when audio and video converge in a single solution
The tour of ISE also brought the team to the Shure stand, a historic brand within Audio Concept’s portfolio, which this year presented an interesting shift in its proposal.
Cristian León, Project Manager at Audio Concept Venezuela, focused on one of the most striking launches at the stand: the new IntelliMix MX Pro bar. “I consider it’s going to be a blockbuster product,” immediately signaling the impact the solution had on him.
Shure, traditionally recognized for its leadership in microphones and professional audio, has now incorporated a key component: integrated high-quality video. The bar includes four 4K cameras — two central and two lateral — and a system of 24 microphones, enabling complete and precise pickup within medium-sized rooms of up to nine or ten meters in depth.
The solution stands out not only for its audiovisual quality but also for its operational practicality. The display connects directly to the bar, receives power from the same system, and simplifies connectivity for videoconferences. “This new bar makes connectivity very easy when conducting videoconferences and, in addition, access to the rear panel greatly simplifies technical service tasks, something IT departments particularly value,” Cristian highlights.
He closed with regional enthusiasm: “I think this year we’re going to break it,” anticipating demonstrations in Venezuela so the market can directly experience the 4K audio and video quality of the new solution.
Meyer Sound: precision, pressure, and strategic balance
The Meyer Sound booth became a mandatory stop for the Audio Concept team. For the company, relationships with manufacturers are not only commercial; they are technical, strategic, and projected over the long term.
Felipe Salcedo, General Manager for Colombia, focused on the comprehensive reading of the portfolio. From his role, which combines purchasing, logistics, finance, and participation in major negotiations, the visit was not only to learn about launches, but to evaluate how each novelty fits into the group’s strategic planning. The result was clear: Meyer presented solutions that occupy key spaces within the regional market.
On the technical side, Andrés Montes, PRO Audio – Lighting and Structures specialist for the Colombia team, went deeper into one of the most talked-about launches: the Tigra, Meyer Sound’s new dual 10-inch cabinet. The younger sibling of the Panther series, it positions itself as a compact solution with remarkable sound pressure and potential for demanding applications.
Alongside Tigra, the new 1800-LFC subwoofer, from the same series as the 2100, expands the low-frequency offering in a more contained format while maintaining power and performance. “More compact cabinets, with a lot of pressure and a highly demanded product for our market,” Andrés reported, anticipating the interest it may generate in the region.
From the perspective of integration and corporate projects, Oscar Vergara, specialist in Commercial and Corporate Projects for Audio Concept Colombia, provided the strategic reading. “Tigra,” he noted, “comes to occupy a necessary space within the portfolio: it is positioned in an appropriate price range and covers the gap between Panther and the former Leopard, especially in installations, theaters, and venues. We are going to take it to the applications and solutions we have for the market,” he assured, making clear that the trade show analysis already translates into concrete decisions for Colombia, Venezuela, and Panama.
Here, the launch is not just a novelty; it is a structured opportunity for the region.
Professional lighting: LED efficiency, compact power, and solutions ready for the Latin American market
In the professional lighting area, the Audio Concept team devoted time to analyzing equipment that combines efficiency, power, and versatility, three key variables for the regional market.
From the Claypaky stand, Andrés Montes highlighted the Arola Aqua SLT as one of the most interesting fixtures on the tour: “A compact machine, 350 watts, low consumption, with a 6500 Kelvin LED engine, impressive luminous flux, 21,000 lumens, compact but high speed, a highly sought-after fixture for its size, its color reproduction, and its visual effects.”
The technical reading is clear: a luminaire that achieves a balance between reduced size and high performance, with speed and color quality designed for both touring and demanding stage applications. Low consumption and the LED engine further consolidate the trend toward more efficient and sustainable solutions.
In parallel, the team analyzed new developments from Martin, where the technological transition is definitive. Andrés summarizes it precisely: “I would particularly like to talk about the MANET, it is a very important product for auditoriums where we have that Fresnel need.” And he added a point that marks the direction of the industry: “All Martin luminaires are using LED technology, we have already discarded the issue of discharge lamps.”
The total migration to LED not only responds to energy efficiency, but also to stability, thermal control, lower maintenance, and better color consistency for environments with cameras, broadcast, and multipurpose auditoriums.
This technical approach aligns directly with the group’s strategic vision. Jean Paul Gaspard, Director of the group, acknowledged: “When technology advances, Audio Concept does not wait: it moves ahead, integrates it, and turns it into a real advantage for the Latin American market.”
Strategy, manufacturers, and the Latin community
For Adriana Montañez Pazos, Country Manager for Colombia and Venezuela, presence at ISE goes beyond technological exhibition. It is about accompanying processes, strengthening ties, and sustaining a long-term strategic vision together with manufacturers and clients.
“We are very happy to be accompanying our clients and visiting all the factories we work with in the region. The experience is not only about discovering products, but about consolidating relationships. Direct contact with brands and partners allows us to go deeper into new solutions, validate strategies, and project regional growth.”
The enthusiasm also had a human component. “We are very excited about everything we have been sharing with our manufacturers, with much more technology, much more innovation,” she noted, also highlighting something that marked this edition: “We are impressed by the number of Latin Americans present here.”
That presence reinforces an internal conviction of the group: Latin America no longer observes the industry from the outside; it actively participates in it.
“We are convinced of our strategy and the synergy of providing our clients with complete 360° solutions, carrying out the entire integration process in projects, from the initial stage to final delivery,” Adriana confirmed, highlighting the team’s ability to adapt to different technical, regulatory, and market needs.
ISE 2026 was not just a meeting agenda or a tour of stands: it was a declaration of direction. With its entire team in Barcelona, Audio Concept confirmed that its regional strategy is built where global decisions are born.
Technology, partnerships, and vision converged in the same direction: to grow alongside Latin America with comprehensive solutions, technical criteria, and a clear outlook toward what is ahead.
