Located in the city of Juliaca in the south of Peru near the border with Bolivia, Activo Records has been successfully deploying its NEXO STM system for a decade at events throughout the region. Now this busy production company is celebrating 10 years of STM by adding more B112 modules to enable a triple column system.
NEXO's Roberto Tschopp was on site for a two-day commissioning and training session in June for the newly expanded system, covering rigging, crossover points and a full demonstration to Activo's major clients.
“This system is unique in Peru” comments Activo Records owner Cliver Fidel. “Now we are ready for any event from small to large-scale configurations. And at an altitude of 3900 meters, STM is the only system that can effectively compete with the absorption of air over distance, especially in the HF range."
